Last updated 25 August 2026

This website has no accounts and no advertising. Two things about you are recorded: which pages are visited, through Valeron’s own analytics, and whatever you choose to type into the contact form. Both are described below.

Cookies and local storage

This website sets no cookies. Nothing on it, including the analytics described below, sets a cookie in any configuration.

One value is stored in your browser’s local storage, under the key onlooq_vid. It is a random identifier generated in your browser the first time you arrive, scoped to this website alone. Its only purpose is to tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is not derived from your IP address, your user agent, or any characteristic of your device, and it is not linked to your name or your email address. It does persist, so it marks your browser as the same browser across visits. Clearing site data for valeronit.com removes it, and your next visit is counted as a new one.

Analytics

This website uses OnLooq. OnLooq is Valeron’s own product, built and operated by Valeron. It is not a third-party analytics service, and the data collected from valeronit.com is not handed to another company to analyse, to advertise against, or to sell.

OnLooq records which pages are visited, where a visit came from, and the standard request data that any web server receives, including the IP address and the user agent string. With the local identifier above, that is used to count visits and to see which pages are read. Nothing more is done with it: there is no advertising network involved, no tracking across other websites, and no profile built for marketing.

These requests go to api.onlooq.app, which is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare handles that traffic in transit as the network sitting in front of the endpoint.

The contact form

Nothing is submitted to Valeron by reading these pages. The contact form on the home page is the only thing on this website that sends anything you have written, and only when you fill it in and press send.

It asks for your name, your email address, and your message. The form collects nothing else. It has no hidden field recording your browser or your location, and the OnLooq identifier is not sent with it.

Submissions are handled by Formspree, which receives what you typed and passes it on to Valeron. Formspree is a separate company acting as a processor for these messages, and how long it retains them is governed by its own policy rather than by anything Valeron sets. See Formspree’s privacy policy.

Your message is used to reply to you and to carry out any work that follows. It is not added to a mailing list, and it is not sold or shared for marketing.

Requests this website makes

Every file this website loads (the stylesheet, the fonts, and the images) is served from valeronit.com. There are no requests to content delivery networks for assets, font services, tag managers, embedded videos, or social media widgets.

Two requests do leave this website. The analytics script loads from api.onlooq.app, a Valeron service, on every page. The contact form posts to Formspree, but only when you press send.

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Vercel. Apart from the analytics and the contact form described above, the site collects nothing about you, and it sets no cookies.

Serving a website still requires the host to process the requests it receives. Vercel’s edge network handles standard request data, including your IP address and your user agent string, in order to deliver these pages. That processing is Vercel’s, and how long Vercel retains that data is governed by Vercel’s own policy rather than by anything Valeron sets. See Vercel’s privacy policy.

Valeron does not use this data to build profiles of visitors, and does not sell or share it for marketing.

Where your message ends up

A message sent through the contact form reaches Valeron as email, in a normal mailbox. Your message, your email address, and anything else you chose to include are kept in that mailbox for as long as the correspondence is useful, and are used only to reply to you and to carry out any work that follows.

Your rights

Because this website records the pages you visit, it holds something about you even if you never use the contact form. That record is tied to the identifier in your browser’s local storage, not to your name.

You can remove that identifier at any time by clearing site data for valeronit.com. If you want the analytics record associated with it deleted, or a message you have sent corrected or deleted, ask through the contact form. If you used the form, a copy may also sit with Formspree, whose own policy governs how long it keeps submissions.

Changes to this notice

If this website starts collecting anything beyond what is described here, this page will be updated before that happens.
